in 5 easy steps.
1. Crop, resize your base to 100x100.
2. Duplicate your base and set it to screen (I put it at 70% opacity, but if your pic is really bright, you may not need this layer at all, and if it's very dark, you may need 2 or more).
3. New Adjustment Layer-> Selective Color:
Reds:
-100|-30|-45|0
Yellows:
0|-50|-100|-25
Neutrals:
-15|-5|10|0
Blacks:
15|100|100|-35
[Method: Relative]
4. New Adjustment Layer-> Color Balance:
Shadows:
0|0|30
Midtones:
-15|20|35
5. New Adjustment Layer-> Hue/Saturation
Master:
3|30|0
Reds:
0|5|0
WARNING: If your picture is lightly saturated, you may have to duplicate the Hue/Saturation layer. If it's highly saturated, you don't need a H/S layer.
