1. brightness & contrast
duplicate base > set to screen at 50% - 100%, depending on your base [*i set mine to 60%]
duplicate base again > drag it to the top of all layers > set it to luminosity at 70%
~ this will even out the contrast and add a pretty luminance
2. color fill layers
layer > new > layer > set to soft light and fill with the color #cca5a5 at 100% opacity
layer > new > layer > set to exclusion and fill with the color #121700 at 100% opacity
~ adds a pink & blue tint which gives the image a vintage look
3. selective coloring
layer > new adjustment layer > selective coloring at 100% opacity
red: 100, 0, 100, 42
yellow: -100, 0, 100
cyan: 100, 0, -100, 100
blue: 100, 0, -100, 100

~ darkens your image and adds more yellow
4. more selective coloring

red: -100, 37, 2
yellow: 4, 4, 17, -10
cyan: 0, 0, 0, -100
blue: 0, 0, 0, -100
neutrals: 10
blacks: 100, 0, 0, 100

5. color balancing
layer > new adjustment layer > color balance at 100% opacity
midtones: -20, -6, 18
shadows: -17, -17, -12
highlights: -19, 4, 25
~ balances yellows and gives whites a blue tint
6. even-ing it out
layer > new > layer > set to exclusion and fill with the color #170e00 at 100% opacity
layer > new > layer > set to luminosity and fill with the color #02aeb4 at 20% opacity
layer > new > layer > set to darken and fill with the color #b6b59e at 10% opacity
duplicate base > drag to the top of all layers > set to soft light at 80% opacity
~ gives more saturation and darkens the image just a tad to even it out
7. finishing touches
layer > new adjustment layer > selective color at 100% opacity
red: -25
yellow: -19, 0, -38
neutrals: 0, 0, -12
~ removes excess yellow and tones up the reds a notch
